The process of the Community Partnerships for Social Change site was very organic. The project grew out of the Women's Center website effort via word-of-mouth, and the result is similar visually. But unlike the breezy three day process of the Women's Center, there is blood, sweat and many meetings behind the site's content and architecture.
The site is strategically designed to let the staff of Community Partnerships contentrate on building relationships (the core of their work), rather than repeating logistical information (the bane of their existence). The aesthetic is also strategic -- meant to appeal to funders.
